General Information

Do you ship or deliver your products?

Currently, shipping and delivery are NOT available. Orders may be picked up at our Verseau Bistro location at 9200 Stony Point Fashion Park, Suite 180.

Do you have a return or exchange policy?

Say Cheese...cake! strives to create a quality product and if you aren’t happy then we aren’t happy. Our products are perishable and as such, we cannot have them returned nor do we provide refunds. We will, however, do everything in our power to make things right and will replace your product if the quality is lacking for factors within our control. 

Say Cheese...cake! is not responsible for products not properly stored.

We do have a disclaimer on the checkout page of our website and by placing an order, you agree to this policy which is as follows:

"By submitting my order, I assume total responsibility for storing this perishable product in a refrigerated manner. Say Cheese...cake! is not responsible for any products that are not stored properly.  All transactions on this site are secure and encrypted."

And since we are talking about refrigeration…

Our products are completely preservative free. And as mentioned - PERISHABLE. Your cheesecake product will remain fresh in your refrigerator for up to 7 days. And cheesecake freezes beautifully! Properly wrapped and stored (preferably) in an air tight container, your cheesecake products will remain fresh up to 3-4 months in the freezer. It may last longer (up to 6 months) but you will have better quality within the shorter time frame.

How do you recommend serving?

If frozen, it is recommended that a full size cheesecake stay wrapped or covered and placed in the refrigerator for 24 hours to thaw. You can set out and allow it to come to room temperature prior to serving.

Products like mini cheesecakes, bites or cheesecake-on-a-stick that will be immediately consumed can be taken right out of the fridge and enjoyed. If frozen and will be consumed immediately, allow it to come to desired eating temperature at room temperature. Remember to put back in the fridge (or freezer) if you change your mind! 

Is there an easy way to cut a whole cheesecake so I don’t destroy it?

Yes, there is! Simply take a warm knife (a cake knife or a chef’s knife is perfect - one without a serrated edge) that has been dipped in warm water and wiped off with a damp towel to make a clean cut, re-dip the knife and wipe off - repeat until your cake is perfectly cut! Easy, peasy.

What are your operating hours?

Retail sales at Verseau Bistro during normal business hours (Tue-Thu 10-6, Fri–Sat 10–7. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.)

However, our website is 24 x 7 and any website orders that come when we are closed will be attended to the following business day.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are available on our SHOP page and can be purchased in $25, $50, $75 or $100 denominations. You will have the option during checkout if you want an email sent to you or your recipient that will have a unique code on it. This code can be used during the checkout process to reduce the total price of the order. Please keep this code in a safe place. The gift certificate code never expires. 

What do you do with my information?

Your privacy is key to us. When you give us information such as your email address or other personal details, that information is retained within the company and personal details are not shared outside of the company except with the payment processor during the checkout process as they may require. We use your email information to keep you informed with promotions and upcoming events where we may be located. We do not retain any personal financial information.

Information about our Products

Do you make products that are gluten-free or keto friendly?

We do have a gluten-free option for some of our products and these products will have that listed on their respective product page. At this time, we don’t offer any keto friendly products but stay tuned as this could change!

Please be aware that our gluten-free products are made in a kitchen where wheat products are also used, so while it is rare that this would happen since each order is made individually and with great attention to detail, we can’t guarantee that cross contamination is impossible.

What allergens are in your products?

Our products do contain ingredients that could be an allergen to some of our customers. They include: eggs; soy (soy lecithin, a natural emulsifier); wheat; milk; tree nuts. Please refer to our ALLERGENS page for details on each product. Please be aware that items that contain nuts are prepared in the same kitchen as all other products. While sanitizing is done after any product preparation that contains nuts before other products are made, there is no guarantee that cross-contamination is 100% impossible. Great care is taken to ensure that this won’t occur but be aware that it is not guaranteed.

Custom Orders

Because I make each product from scratch myself, at this time custom orders that differ from the current product offerings are not possible. Our product list and options are quite extensive and have been finalized based on customer feedback. 

Volume discount

If you are planning a large party or wedding and want to order handhelds in a larger volume than normal or perhaps buy whole cheesecakes for your wedding cake, contact Cheryl at cheryl@saycheesecake.com so that we can work on a quote for you.

When will you make and have my order ready?

Since all products are made specifically for each order, please allow *48 hours for order to be fulfilled. Orders will be processed and fulfilled in the order as they are received.

*Not including Sundays/Mondays as we are closed.
